Holy Bible or Un-Holy perversion

 Great Apostasy or Fall Away Reveals !!

Churches Rapture (fall away)

The word rapture is not found in the scriptures, but this is the Greek word where the word rapture came from;

726. harpazo har-pad'-zo from a derivative of 138; to seize (in various applications):--catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take (by force).

However, the term falling away or fall away is found throughout in the Old and New Testament, not the term rapture, although we know what it means in reference to the body of believers, the Church, the Bride of Christ.

Neither is the teaching of a great apostasy, true the bible teaches many will fall from sound doctrine in the last days we have been in the last days since Jesus’ Christ ascended into the clouds, but the scriptures never refer to a great apostasy or that it would bring on, or be the event that would happen on, the day of the revealing of the wicked one, as the taking of the church from the earth will.

(2 Timothy 4:2,3

2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; )
However, that is not the event that reveals the Wicked one (the final Antichrist)

Luke 8:13
They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. (Fall away from the truth)

2 Thessalonians 2:3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (falling away from the earth)

Hebrews 6:6

If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. (Fall away from the truth)

2 Peter 3:17

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

II Thessalonians: (talks about what holds back the revealing of the wicked one, until and when the Church is pulled out of the earth)

(Just as verse 3 does)

(3.Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition ;) (Fall away from the earth)

5. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6. And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. (The church with the Holy Spirit holding back the wicked one)

7. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (The Church with the Holy Spirit Letteth)

8. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (the Church with the Holy Spirit taken out of the way to allow the revealing of the Wicked one)

The context of this passage is what happens when the Church is taken out of the earth and out of the way of the Antichrist and his plans, and how those who are left that will believe the lie from him will be damned.

11.And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Verse 12 tells us only those (all) who believed not the truth will be damned thus leaving the new believers a chance, but they will suffer through the throes of the tribulation to salvation.

Modern version which upholds the idea that a great falling away of believers from the truth of the Gospel will bring about the revealing of the Antichrist.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 (Amplified Bible) (AMP)

Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition),

All modern version readers who hold to the AMP Bible and believe that the bible teaches ‘Once saved always saved’, how do you reconcile the idea that a great falling away of believers from the Gospel of truth will happen(the apostasy comes first) and will bring on the revealing of the Wicked one, the final Antichrist.

How can these believers apostatize and fall away, when you believe that one cannot lose their salvation. If you claim these are not believers then what are these sinners falling away from to be damned when un-repented sinners are already on their way to perdition short of repenting of their sins and accepting Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 6:4,5

4, For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

Once saved always saved’ believers, are these verses talking about sinners who have never been saved? If so how can one be enlighten and made a partaker of the Holy Ghost and not be saved?

6.If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Romans 8:11

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

How can one partake of the Holy Ghost and not have dwell him, i.e. how can one partake of bread and wine and not have it dwell in them?

2 Thessalonians 2:3 King James Version (KJV)

3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Man of sin revealed how? By a falling away, when, on that day
This verse is teaching what one event will happen on the day that will reveal the Antichrist, not what events or change in believers attitudes that will take place prior to that revealing.

This is a clear reference to the rapture event, the believers taken out of earth to allow the Antichrist to be revealed, come forth and deceive all who believe not the truth.

If you believe that the pulling of the church out of the earth (rapture event) is the event which will allow the Antichrist to be revealed, where is the reference to the rapture in this verse for that eventful day if not in the phrase a ‘falling away first’ the (Church falling away from the earth).

The first verse of chapter2 sets the theme of the chapter.

1.Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

(Paul is about to reveal in this chapter what event will happen on the day Antichrist is revealed, as the Antichrist cannot be revealed until this event takes place, that event is the rapture the Church taken out of the way.

Paul assures us not to worry as we will not be here to see it happen. In verse 2 and 3 we are told not to worry or be deceived by anyone as we will be gone and we need not even be concerned about it.

Our mandate is to turn as many as we can to the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus died for us and we need only accept his free gift of salvation.

(“by our gathering together unto him” is a clear rapture reference. Then verse 3 teaches what event will take place on the day the Antichrist is revealed, the falling away of the Church, the rapture.

 The Inerrancy of Scripture and Preservation

This is a response to the idea that 'Originals Only' are inspired.

Disclaimer: I did not draft it, so I can not take credit for the logic and common sense that this draft displays.

I find it to be the most intelligent reply to the silly notion that we can not have an inerrant and complete inspired Bible today because "Only the Originals" were inspired, and we do not have them on earth today.

If you are a modern version reader and advocate of such, and are using this excuse to continue in a modern version Bible or use it against those of us who believe that we do have a perfect Bible, for most of you there will probably be way to much common sense and logic in this for you to digest. However, if you are honest you might consider re-thinking your position of no English Bible is perfect and inerrant, (except the KJB 1611-1769).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The actual commitment of the words of God to paper has nothing to do
with inspiration. That is preservation.
The "original autographs" was the preservation of inspired scripture
just as the King James is today.
The writing of the original autographs was simply God PRESERVING what
He had INSPIRED, just as with the subsequent COPIES. There is NO
DIFFERENCE between the act of writing down the original autographs
and the act of COPYING them. Both were a RECORDING process. The fact
is, in MANY cases (Jeremiah, Pauls letters, etc.,) the writing of the
original autographs was nothing more than a scribe COPYING down
dictation of what he HEARD from a prophet or an apostle.

God breathed into Adam and he became a living soul.
What happens when God's breath enters into something?
Remember when Ezekiel was in the valley of dry bones? God told him to
prophesy to those bones.
Those bones became covered with everything that makes a human being,
but they weren't alive.
God put breath into those bones and they came alive!

What happened when God gave his words by inspiration?

Heb 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of
soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of
the thoughts and intents of the heart."

That word of God is "quick." It's Alive!
THAT'S What inspiration is!
God breathed life into His words!

Inspiration is a continuous thing.
The words of God are living words. They do not die.
If the Book I hold in my hand is the word of God then it is given by
inspiration.

There is no call for separating the original autographs as something
different than the inspired copies. To do so is to make the originals
something more than the copies, which is unbiblical.
Both the "originals" and the copies are the preservation process.

Inspiration is an ATTRIBUTE.
Preservation is a PROCESS.

 Genesis 3:1 “Yea, hath God said”…?

Genesis 3:1
“Yea, hath God said”…

The very first attack upon the word of God came from Satan and was delivered to Eve in the form of a question in the Garden of Eden:

Genesis 3:1
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eve fell for Satan’s twisting of Gods word as Satan planted doubt into the mind and heart of the woman. Adam went along with Eve even though he knew what God had commanded by his spoken Holy word.
Today we can hear Genesis 3:1 echoing from every modern version from the RV of 1881 to the latest new modern version coming off the printing presses today. They echo the subtle lying question from Satan to Eve in Genesis 3:1 “Yea, hath God said”… as they print scriptures in their pages which are in direct conflict with the 400 year old KJB and the six English bibles preceding:
Tyndale’s Bible, Coverdale’s Bible, Matthew’s Bible, The Great Bible, Bishops Bible and the Geneva Bible, and even in conflict other modern versions some even in conflict with their own modern editions of the past.
When we hear the life mates of many well known TV preachers begin to come to the pulpit to preach on the coattails of their husband’s ministry they all seem to be quoting from some modern version, thus still buying the first lie from Satan, “Yea, hath God said”… many of these TV preachers built their ministry from the scriptures in the KJB, but have given in to the modern versions by the use of their life mates.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Corrupting’ or ‘selling’ God’s word? “Yea, hath God said’…?
2 Corinthians 2:17 King James Bible (KJV) is very clear in what this scripture teaches.

17.For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
However, the modern versions are still echoing Satan’s lie, “Yea, hath God said”…? ‘corrupting’

Let’s take a look at what many former 1611-1769 KJB readers are now taught God really meant in this verse by the New King James Bible. A modern version which is touted as an easier to read and understand King James Bible, and sadly this perversion is praised and spoke highly of by many well known people in the National Christian spotlight.

Many Christians are blindly following the recommendations of many well known people like Billy Graham, one who has been a spokesman for this perversion of perversions. You may be a follower of Billy Graham and highly esteem his contribution to the Christian Community as I have been in the past.

However, Dr. Billy Graham, like everyone else, is not beyond making a mistake in judgment and is not all knowing. The KJB speaks to this issue of mans propensity to err in judgment:

•Jeremiah 12:6
For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.

Exodus 23:8
And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

Deuteronomy 16:19
Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

Not commonly known among Christians, Billy Graham met with the Pope and accepted a gift of honorary priest hood from the Roman Catholic Church. Billy Graham began after this to refer any who responded to his call for repentance in his latter crusades who was a Roman Catholic to a Roman Catholic Priest, to keep them in the Roman Catholic religion.

There was always Roman Catholic Priest at hand in his latter crusades to handle any one who was a Catholic to keep them in the Roman Catholic Church. This was Billy Graham’s arrangement with the Pope.

I do not mean to take away any from Dr. Billy Graham’s past efforts and to those who may have given their lives to Jesus Christ in his many crusades and are in a protestant denomination. However, we are to follow the word of God and not a man. Men will fail us but the word of God will never betray or fail us.

•Proverbs 4:20
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

•Proverbs 5:7
Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

Jeremiah 23:36
And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

•Revelation 22:18
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

•Revelation 22:19
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Here is how the ‘New king James Bible’ presents and teaches this scripture.

2 Corinthians 2:17 New King James Version (NKJV)
(Changes ‘corrupting’ into peddling, selling the word of God. This changes the very meaning of this verse)

17. For we are not, as so many,[a] peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

(Is it beyond the realm of logic and wisdom to surmise that Satan is using this verse to cover his tracks, and trying to eradicate any scripture reference to how he is corrupting the Word of God?)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The rest of the modern versions also change the word ‘corrupting’ “Yea , hath God said”… stills echoes from all modern versions and from most TV preachers wives as they take to the pulpit, from Jan Crouch, Gloria Copeland, Cathy Duplantis, Creflo Dollars wife, Joyce Meyers to name a few, are echoing Satan’s, “Yea, hath God said”…
I am not saying that these women are purposely trying to do anything wrong, I am sure that these women have a heart for God and would not do anything wrong on purpose. .
However, so did the Apostle Paul when he was going about persecuting and putting Christians to death. Paul truly believed that he was serving God’s purpose even though he was deceived by Traditional Jewish Religious teaching.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Isaiah 55:11 KJB
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Sadly many are sending the words of modern scholars from modern version bibles and these words being not Gods word will not accomplish anything. There is no scriptural mandate for God to honor the altered words of modern version bibles.

God has put warnings in the scripture concerning adding and changing his word.

Deuteronomy 4:2 (KJB)
2.Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Deuteronomy 12:32 (KJB):
32.What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Proverbs 30:5, 6 (KJB):
5. Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Psalm 119:158 (KJB):
158. I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.

Revelation 22:19 (KJB):
19. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (This verse should make modern version bible writers and advocates turn white with fear)

Mark 4:14, 15 (KJB):
14The sower soweth the word.
15.And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

Modern versions still echoing “Yea, hath God said”… are doing what God commanded us not to do, adding and taking away from God’s Word.

It is obvious to anyone who can read that the modern versions have altered, changed meaning and context, and omitted many verses of scripture found in the KJB 1611-1769 Holy Bible.

The question we have to answer is what bible contains the infallible, inerrant word of God, which one can I put my faith in?

All modern versions from the 1881 RV to present day have conflicting verse renderings and verse omissions that are found in the 1611-1769- KJB and even among other modern versions themselves.

All the Great Preachers, Evangelist, and Apostles of the past read and studied the 1611-1769 KJB. All professional Archaeologist use the KJB as a reference for finding ancient ruins. The KJB’s prophecies of current times have all came to past, not one has been wrong so far.

I put my Faith in the 1611-1769 KJB a tried and faithful friend from God, able to feed my soul with God’s pure words and keep me in the faith once delivered to the Great Saints of the past.

 Acts 3:21 'Restitution' downgraded in modern bibles!!

Saints, here is yet another example of the modern versions altering a word found in the KJB and using an alternative word that takes away from the true meaning of scripture and subtly watering down and weakening the verse.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Acts 3:21 (King James Bible)
21Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
‘Restitution’, a legal term found in the KJB is downgraded in the modern versions.
Acts 3:21 ~ ‘restitution’ a legal term altered to a non legal term ‘restoration’ in the NASB; ‘ restoring’ in the ESV; ‘restore’ in the NIV; ‘restoration’ in the NKJV; “makes all things new” in the CEV; ‘restoration’ in the AMP; ‘restoration’ in the ASV; ‘restoration’ in the Holman Christian Standard Bible; “all things will be made right again” in the NCV; and ‘restore’ in the TNIV.
The KJB in Acts 3:21 teaches us that things have been illegally taken and will be given back legally (not just restored) in the last days before the coming of Jesus Christ, Satan has a legal mandate to give all back in restitution.
 New Christian 's Dilemma !!
A new Christian had been attending Church services for a good while, and the pastor noticed that he had a rather confused look on his face during the sermons. After a message one Sunday, the preacher asked the gentleman if there was a problem.
The new Christian showed the pastor his Bible and stated that he just couldn't understand it. After one glance at the Bible the pastor knew why: it was cut all to pieces! Words, phrases, and even entire verses were cut completely out! The pastor asked in shock, "Why, man, what have you done to your Bible?"
"Well," replied the Christian, "as I listened to your messages, I just cut out the words that you said were wrong! This is what I have left!"
You say you have always read and studied the KJB, if this is true then the following information and comparison charts should open your eyes to the many problems with the modern bible versions. If you take the time to compare the modern versions to each other you will find that they do not even agree in textual content in a vast number of scriptures, much less agreeing with the KJB 1611-1769 text.
A bible that is said to be easier to read, even if this was true, is not a valid reason to adopt a variant reading bible text., below is the Flesch Kincaid readability of four modern versions as compared to the KJB, (King James Bible) miss- refereed to as the KJV. The KJB is the Holy Bible in the English language, it is not a ‘version’ of the Holy Bible it is indeed the English Holy Bible. The following comparison chart, one of many that have been done, show quite readily that the modern versions are far from being Holy.
Overall Average Readability:
KJB 5.8 grade
NIV 8.4 grade
NASB 6.1 grade
TEV 7.2 grade
NKJV 6.9 grade
A few bible publishers have put out their own readability stats and show a lower average readability than the KJB, however, they do not use the same criteria as Flesch Kincaid, (an independent readability grading entity which does not publish and or sell bibles), and they are partial having a vested interest in trying to tout and sell their own modern bible version to Christians.
Notice how many times ‘holy’ is omitted from these modern versions and also many defining words to deity and the blood are omitted.
Do not rely on your memory. As the Bible is the final authority, you must take the answer from the Bible verse (not from footnotes but from the text).
1. Fill in the missing words in Matthew 5:44. "Love your enemies,__________ them that curse you, ______________ to them that hate you, and pray for them that __________ and persecute you."
2. According to Matthew 17:21, what two things are required to cast out this type of demon?
3. According to Matthew 18:11, why did Jesus come to earth?
4. According to Matthew 27:2, what was Pilate's first name?
5. In Matthew 27:35, when the wicked soldiers parted His garments, they were fulfilling the words of the prophet. Copy what the prophet said in Matthew 27:35 from the NIV.
6. In Mark 3:15, Jesus gave the apostles power to cast out demons and to: ____________
7. According to Mark 7:16, what does a man need to be able to hear?
8. According to Luke 7:28, what was John? (teacher, prophet, carpenter, etc.). What is his title or last name?
9. In Luke 9:55, what did the disciples not know?
10. In Luke 9:56, what did the Son of man not come to do? According to this verse, what did He come to do?
11. In Luke 22:14, how many apostles were with Jesus?
12. According to Luke 23:38, in what three languages was the superscription written?
13. In Luke 24:42, what did they give Jesus to eat with His fish?
14. John 3:13 is a very important verse, proving the deity of Christ. According to this verse (as Jesus spoke), where is the Son of man?
15. What happened each year as told in John 5:4?
16. In John 7:50, what time of day did Nicodemus come to Jesus?
17. In Acts 8:37, what is the one requirement for baptism?
18. What did Saul ask Jesus in Acts 9:6?
19. Write the name of the man mentioned in Acts 15:34.
20. Study Acts 24:6-8. What would the Jew have done with Paul? What was the chief captain's name? What did the chief captain command?
21. Copy Romans 16:24 word for word from the NIV.
22. First Timothy 3:16 is perhaps the greatest verse in the New Testament concerning the deity of Christ. In this verse, who was manifested in the flesh?
23. In the second part of First Peter 4:14, how do [they] speak of Christ? And, what do we Christians do?
24. Who are the three Persons of the Trinity in First John 5:7?
25. Revelation 1:11 is another very important verse that proves the deity of Christ. In the first part of this verse Jesus said, "I am the A______________ and O___________, the _________ and the _______:"
Conclusion: Little space is provided for your answers, but it's much more than needed. If you followed the instructions above, you not only failed the test, you receive a big goose egg.
(Ed. These are all missing in the NIV.) So now what do you think of your "accurate, easy to understand, up to date Bible"?
If you would like to improve your score, and in fact score 100%, you can take this test using the Authorized (King James) Bible.
"Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?"
Gal. 4:16
It was once asked of US Treasury Department workers who are proficient in determining counterfeit bills , how did they get so good at it, and how many counterfeit bills did they have to study to be so good at their job, They responded, “none”; they explained to the questioner, “to get good at determining a counterfeit bill one has to study the original and know it as well as one knows their own hand, then when one encounters a counterfeit it will stand out with very little effort on their part.
Those that have been a KJB reader from the beginning and have spent quality time studying it will sense something is not quite right when they read a modern version... The modern versions will not feel right, the words will seem cold and hard and the book will feel like a new secular novel. You may not know why and until it is either shown to you by some one or it revealed to you personally by the Holy Spirit some how.
It was revealed to me in a Christian School, where I taught a Middle school class, during a morning and worship Bible QA with the High school teacher and his class. Until this incident happen, I had all the Greek and Hebrew text I could find and many modern bible versions and spent many hours studying what I thought was the original Greek and Hebrew text.
I often refereed to a modern version when there was something in the KJB that I was not quite sure I had a good grasp on. A few times some would confirm what I thought the Holy Spirit had revealed to me, but more often than not they left me more in doubt than before. Not realizing at the time that I was leaving out Holy Spirit in helping me to understand Holy Scripture.
The following is that incident:
My turning point, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”.
Brothers and Sisters in Christ make no mistake about it; there is an attack on Gods’ Word the Holy Bible. Just as Satan levied his first attack against Gods’ Word in the Garden of Eden when Satan said to Eve in:
Genesis 3:1“, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Genesis3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: after God had said “Ye shall not eat of it,……..lest you die”.
The attack today is as subtle as it was in the Garden of Eden, and even the most ardent bible believers are falling prey to this attack, just as Eve had done in the Garden of Eden.
It is very difficult to see the changes in the modern bible versions without a side-by-side verse chart or comparative Bible. But sadly even when one has access to a comparative bible to look at the changes they are often not seen as a big deal, unless one looks at enough verse changes to see the pattern of watered down verses and even a complete change of meaning and context in many verses.
The average reader will not often notice the impact the changes have on the integrity of scripture. Have you ever read a familiar passage and said, “Wow I never saw that before”? Unless something happens to raise our awareness level, we will most likely miss the impact the changes really have on scriptural integrity.
When we read a comparative bible, or read from a modern version the changes are not often apparent to our eyes and mind; unless we do as II Timothy 2:15 says; “Study to shew thyself approved unto God workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly divided the word of truth”.
If we have studied Gods Word in the King James Bible as II Timothy 2:15 commands, we would be in a better position to see the perversion in modern Bibles. Satan has relied and used this lack of awareness of Gods true Word as one of his tactics to allow his perversions of Gods’ Word to go forth without detection.
My turning point:
I know this to be a fact, because I too was ignorant of what was or was not in the modern versions. Even though I had also referred to a modern version from time to time in the past, I also did not see the patterns of perversion. However, a situation in a Christian school where I taught a middle school class opened my eyes.
I was in a bible study one morning as we normally did the first thing each morning; we were having a Q&A session. The question was asked by one of the students, quote, “why in Matthew chapter 17, the disciples were not able to cast the demons out of a certain boy that was tortured by the evil spirits and called a lunatic?
The High School teacher, whom I shared in teaching the bible study, began to answer the question. He lectured all round the idea that the disciples did not have enough faith to cast them out as said in verse 17: 20 of Matthew, but failed to mention the defining verse 17:21 where Jesus followed up by saying, “ Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
The High School teacher started to take and answer another question, but I stopped him to finish answering the question by verse 17:21. I assumed that he just forgot to mention verse 17: 21. I knew that he read from a modern version, the NASB, but I did not think that made any difference. I assumed like everyone else that the modern version said the same thing, but in a different terminology. To my surprise, I later found that this was not the case.
Later in the day I had some time during my break and I got a copy of the NASB and looked for Matthew 17:21 to read what the NASB said, because something kept bothering why he failed to mention verse 17:21’, to my astonishment the verse had been completely omitted.
Discussions from past Bible studies began to pop into my head, and I began to check other verses that he had used in the past. What I found was a shocker, and it opened my eyes to the per-version in the NASB Bible and other versions as I continued to study this issue.
I approached the High School Teacher with what I had found out, to share it with him. I considered him a brother in Christ, and wrongly assumed he would be open to hearing the truth. Each time that I approached him with the information that I was discovering he would use one of the seven lies I later outlined in a booklet I wrote on this issue.
He actually went right down the list of seven lies I outlined in my booklet, one after the other as I presented him with information that contradicted his position for using a modern version of the Bible.
He and I often shared information, but this issue has since but a wedge between us and separated us from close fellowship, and I now sense a hostile spirit of un-teach ability and separation between us. He now seems to try to avoid the issue altogether and not even try to deal with the information, or he will try to dismiss the issue by saying, “this it is a petty issue”.
I have since spent over four years studying and researching this very important issue and have written a 58 page booklet on this issue in my spare time, and the booklet is growing weekly as I find more and more evidence of bible alterations and the sources from which the modern bible versions came.
I was a not aware of all the hostility against the KJB until I started studying this issue and sharing what I was discovering about the Modern version bibles.
Satan is quiet until you challenge what he is doing, I learned this when I began to share this with what I thought were logical Christians who would be willing and open to at least look at the evidence, however, in many cases I found this is not to be so.
The following quiz I ran across one day I found it to be effective in dealing with harsh illogical critics of the KJB.
If you are a critic of the KJB and claim to be a truth seeker you may want to try and answer these questions.
Questions for the KJV Critics
1.Since you are smart enough to find "mistakes" in the KJV, why don't you correct them all and give us a perfect Bible?
2.Do you have a perfect Bible?
3.Since you do believe "the Bible" is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice, could you please show us where Jesus, Peter, James, Paul, or John ever practiced your terminology ["the Greek text says...the Hebrew text says....the originals say...a better rendering would be....older manuscripts read...." etc.]?
4.Since you do not profess to have a perfect Bible, why do you refer to it as "God's word?"
5.Remembering that the Holy Spirit is the greatest Teacher [John 16:12-15; I John 2:27,] who taught you that the King James Bible was not infallible, the Holy Spirit or man?
6.Since you do believe in the degeneration of man and in the degeneration of the world system in general, why is it that you believe education has somehow "evolved" and that men are more qualified to translate God's word today than in 1611?
7.There is one true God, yet many false gods. There is one true Church, consisting of true born-again believers in Christ, yet there are many false churches. So why do you think it's so wrong to teach that there is one true Bible, yet many false "bibles?"
8.Isn't it true that you believe God inspired His holy words in the "originals," but has since lost them, since no one has a perfect Bible today?
9.Isn't it true that when you use the term "the Greek text" you are being deceitful and lying, since there are MANY Greek TEXTS [plural,] rather than just one?
10.Before the first new perversion was published in 1881 [the RV,] the King James Bible was published, preached, and taught throughout the world. God blessed these efforts and hundreds of millions were saved. Today, with the many new translations on the market, very few are being saved.
In America, we would have less than ten percent of our population in Church on Sunday, if every Church were filled to capacity. This statistic is based on the USA population, number of Churches, and their holding capacity. The great revivals in America since the turn of the nineteenth century have been few. Who has gained the most from the new versions, God or Satan?
Blessings in the Living Word, Jesus Christ
